Had a lovely picnic lunch today in the little park area above the bus port that is only two minutes walk from work. On the days that work isn't crazy busy and I can get away for an hour, and when it isn't too warm or raining, this is a lovely spot to get some fresh air in the middle of the day. Not sure what kind of gum trees are growing here, but the paper-like white bark is intriguing and inspired a few photos today.

You pretty much got it - it looks like paperbark - Melaleuca quinquenervia - one of my favourite eucalyptus - nice spot for some peace & quiet.
