Last Minute Laundry. Played too much the last two days of the long weekend and had to do some last minute laundry today so that Gary would have a clean shirt for tomorrow. Sigh, never ending process of washing and ironing.

Lovely Lioness. Perth Zoo trip on the holiday Monday was a little chilly, but certainly worth it with how active the lions were. All three of them were good little posers! Will post heaps more on Eunique blog later this week.

Avon Valley Hike. What a beautiful hike we took up in Walyunga National Park on Sunday. The warmest day we have had so far this spring and just the most beautiful day to be out in nature.

Start of a three day weekend and so busy at work that have to put in some extra time and go to work anyway :0(

So to console myself I took a small detour drive on the way home up through Kings Park again. A lot more people up there on a sunny day compared to last week. Stopped to take a couple of photos of flowers that caught my attention beside the road.

Rose petals. Mum Collins brought in some of the roses from my bushes earlier in the week to save them from all the wind and rain. But they didn't last too long inside either. Came home at the end of the week to flower petals across the bench top under the vase. Kind of pretty in a tragic way.

Indian Feast. Can't think of many things yummier than some spicy potato curry and lentil dahl with mango lassies. We thoroughly enjoyed our take away dinner on Thursday the 24th.

PC Backup Day. After taking so many photos on the 19th I spent hours on Sunday burning some DVD's to backup my data and delete things off the PC to give me more space to record NFL.

Kings Park Flower Shoot. We had a lovely afternoon up in Kings Park on Saturday the 19th. Took over 150 photos of all the different flowers and other interesting sites during Kings Park wild flower festival.

We had a presentation given to us by the owners and managers of our building and their presentation had a photo of our building similar to this one. I thought it looked neat so took one of my own at a similar angle.

Drive home photo. Was just looking at the clouds through the camera view on the drive home on the 15th and Gary jokingly said "you aren't going to take a picture now are you?" so I did. Wasn't going to keep it, but it gave me a laugh with the tree blur and the clouds did look kinda neat.

Have been too busy to load photos over the past few weeks. All the spare time I have I want to watch NFL! That is what I was doing on the 14th after getting home from work. Watching football and working on a Samurai Sudoku puzzle.

Unexpected Sunshine. Took advantage of the unexpected sunshine this afternoon to try again getting a good photo of the wattles growing in the dunes behind our house. These lovely little yellow balls of fluff are VERY pretty, but are not the nicest for Gary's allergies.

Birthday Present. Sent today for little man so that it will arrive in time. I hope he enjoys it as much as I enjoyed finding and wrapping before sending it!

Lunchtime Company. This lovely big guy watched us watching him while we had a leisurely lunch on Friday. Taken through the front windshield of Gary's car. I loved the colour of his eyes.

Berry Smoothie. This is Gary's favourite drink when we have lunch together at the Country Road Cafe. Took timeout at work today to have lunch together and afterwards did a little shopping for the rest of Wade's birthday present. Was tempted to take photos, but resisted so it would be a surprise when it gets there.

80's Chicks! We had an 80's theme day at work yesterday and were supposed to come in bright fluoro colours. What fun putting a crazy outfit together.

Leftover Cake. We had the whole Collins family together yesterday to celebrate an anniversary, birthday and Australian Father's Day. Good excuse to cook and to bake another angel food cake. :0)

Boy Butts. I was going to take a few more photos as I didn't think I really had a photo of the day in the few I took during lunch today. But once I cropped this one (sorry Meg I cropped your butt out)to just show the backsides of my men I really kinda liked it :0)

Hot Pink Rose. One of the rose bushes at the end of my driveway is already in bloom with these lovely big blossoms. The sun came out today so I took the opportunity to try and capture the deep pink of these flowers.

I had to share another photo taken out my window at work as the photo of the day for Friday. The clouds at the end of the day were just spectacular and the Swan looked glassy. I didn't get much of the Swan in this photo looking out towards Kings Park and the old Swan Brewery.

Healthy lunch box. Filled up my lunch container for work today. I know it doesn't look the healthiest with what is on top. But underneath is an entire bag of carrots, another of apples and another of mandarins! Fruit and vegetables makes up the bulk of my lunches these days. Today I indulged in the rye bread (sitting on the top of the bad) with some cheese and a carton of egg nog I bought at the end of our time off as a special treat.

Trying to get back into the discipline of taking at least one photo every day. So just before going to bed on Wednesday night I remembered I hadn't taken one yet. Looking around the house trying to find something that what would be interesting and thought this bag of balloons I haven't put away could make for a colourful shot. So picture taken I could then go to bed. Job done!
