Actually a bit of sun today! Enough breaking through the rain clouds to give us a rainbow. Still can't capture one too successfully. This one made an appearance while I was making a cup of coffee and looking out the kitchen window. Scrambled to get the camera and good thing because it disappeared less than a minute later as the clouds rolled in.

Watching the US "So You Think You Can Dance" show is something I look forward to on Friday nights. Reminded me last night of the homemade tutu that Donna made a few years ago when we went to the races dressed as cowgirl ballerinas. Never know when I might need it again for a dress up party.

Shades of Blue. Thanks to Donna for the idea of taking a photo of "Color" when I don't have too much inspiration of anything else to take photos of. Thursday saw a bit of blue in the sky after so many cloudy days and rain. I didn't end up having time to get outside, so here is your shades of blue shot to represent the day.

New PJ's. Couldn't wait to get home and put on my new PJ's on Wednesday. Nothing better than nice warm flannels when relaxing in front of the TV :0)

Date night on Tuesday. Gary was home on Tuesday and had dinner waiting when I got home. Yummy! Tuesday was also Loren and Dawn's anniversary. Hope you two had a good one. Took this photo of the "Cherished Teddy" figurine that we used at our wedding after talking to you two on the web cam this morning. Hadn't figured out what to take a photo of to represent Tuesday, so thank you for the inspiration.

Bright eyes. Have been taking lots of photos of little man as he gets all cuddly as the weather gets cooler.

Rhubarb and apple rolls. Put my chef hat on in theory on Sunday morning making the Masterchef Australia minestrone soup that was featured last week in the elimination challenge. It turned out quite nice! Also made these rhubarb and apple rolls using Grandma's recipe. Gary wasn't sure he would like rhubarb so made some with apple instead. This was just before pouring in the syrup before baking.

Blustery winter day! Blowing a gale at times today, but when the sun came out the colour of the water was just too beautiful not to just sit and soak up a bit of spray with the sunshine.

Light enough to work on crafts after dinner! This is the new "Daylight" lamp I bought recently. It really is lovely and produces such good light to craft or read under. I am a happy girl.

Rain clouds! Hard to capture the colour of the clouds on Thursday morning at work (they were pink underneath a deep silver with a rainbow peaking through) but still had to try with this photo out the window. Couldn't quite catch the elusive rainbow.

Being early to work doesn't mean you have to "GO" to work early. Rather nice relaxing with a book over coffee and some egg and cheese muffins. :0)

Signs of season changes. Trees with leaves that change colour are not normal for Perth. What a lovely subject to photograph on our walk this morning.

Diary of a pack rat. Spent a few hours today going through things in my study to throw out and put away. Not very good before and after photos, but at least I can see more of the top of my desk.

Oh where oh where did the rain clouds go? Supposed to be winter and Wednesday was supposed to rain most of the day, but the clouds blew away and we had sun come lunch time. This is the view out my window at work.

Planning a holiday? 15 year anniversary coming up and want to go somewhere we have never been. Maps can be so intriguing.

Lovely walk around part of Lake Joondalup this morning. Certainly made up for my lack of photo taking last week. This one of the lake itself is one of my favourites.

Welcome to winter :0) Not a whole lot of "snow" in the Anaconda carpark when Mandy and I arrived. But certainly quite a few people hanging out to ride the mini "slope" they had created on the plastic toboggans.

No time for photos on Thursday and Friday! Could have tried to make up for it when I got home Friday night - but too tired and went to bed instead.
Photo 154 - June 3
Quick break for lunch on Wednesday. This is the new smoke free area where we can sit outside. Nice place to sit for a few minutes in the middle of the day.

I should have been in bed by this time of the morning. Took this photo just after midnight Tuesday morning. Love holiday weekends, but should have been sleeping with the little man seeing as it was a "school night".

End of Autumn as we head into Winter today. Fitting to take a picture of where I am at with this difficult cross-stitch that I started a few weeks ago. The lady who sold it to me figured it would take a number of years to finish with 62,000 stitches. Let's hope she is wrong. I think I have probably done about 500 or a little more now.
