Tax Time. Never get too much back each year, just a bit of change really in the overall scheme of things. Nothing like waiting to the last couple of days to finalise :0)

SPARKLES! Those who know me well know that one of my nicknames is "Magpie" as a result of my attraction to bright sparkly things.

The earrings of the lovely lady sitting across from me kept catching my eye all day on Thursday so she agreed to be my ear model and let me take a picture of these beautiful earrings she bought for her wedding last year.

Stopped to photograph a number of interesting things on my bicycle ride this afternoon. This windmill took my fancy. It isn't a working windmill as if it was would have been spinning wildly with all the wind on the coast today.

Photo 292 - October 20

I hate not having daylight savings! Was able to leave work just a few minutes early so I could get in a short run before it got dark. This was the photo I took at the beginning of the run and it was almost fully dark by the time I got home. The ocean is just the other side of the dunes in front of me (if you look hard you can see the water shining in the dip in the dunes) but by the time I got to a better position to get just the water and the sun the sun was gone. :0( But how neat were the clouds.

Have I mentioned how much I love living by the ocean? :0)

Needful torture. I hate exercising on machines inside, but getting home with little daylight left makes it necessary. Haven't been on this beast in awhile, but received the newsletter announcing the dates of the 2010 NISSAN/BRW Corporate Triathlon and thought I better get the ball rolling with my fitness.

Catching Up! Finally caught up loading all the 365 photos from the past couple of weeks as well as seeing some old friends and doing a bit of reading this weekend. This was Jag chilling out in the shade of the back porch while I read a book in the sun. Even he seemed to enjoy just catching up on some sleep as we lazed the afternoon away.
