My last photo of the year is not going to be a photo :0)
Decided to give you a corny video I recorded earlier tonight to represent what most people will be doing to see the decade out. Not sure I will be able to make it to midnight myself, so here's my HAPPY NEW YEAR greeting to one and all.
Am still thinking about how I am going to continue this challenge in 2010. I've enjoyed the challenge but may decide to publish differently. So watch this space over the next few weeks to see what format I decide on.

Coffee shop lights on a girls day out. These lights in a coffee shop on Oxford Street in Leederville entertained me. Must go back and try at least one of their many, many, many yummy desserts on offer.
Photo 363 - December 29
Glass and Lights. Practising taking photos with longer exposure to try and capture the feel of the Christmas lights and glass ornaments on my tree.
Photo 361 - December 28
O Christmas Tree. Tried Photoshop merge of two different photos to try and give you the best view possible of my tree with its lights.
Photo 360 - December 27
Backyard visitor. Sitting in the backyard with a book is my idea of a holiday. This colourful little guy flew in to distract me for a few minutes as I tried to capture the bright orange colours on him.
Photo 357 - December 24
Are you sure you have to go to work? Jag looks very dejected looking down at me from the top of the stairs before we go to work Christmas Eve morning.
Photo 356 - December 23
Early morning peep. Was ready for work a little before Gary so was playing around with the camera. Took this picture out the peep hole of our front door.
Photo 355 - December 22
Christmas Cupcakes. Yummi Mummi, one of the companies that caters our functions, dropped these cupcakes off at work that last week before Christmas. They sure were cute and definitely yummy.
Photo 354 - December 21
Early Christmas Present. This was the beautiful bag that a gift from my Manager came in. I loved the Christmas fairy on it. I added the lens flare with Photoshop as it seemed to go with the way the bag was decorated.
Photo 353 - December 20
Carols Fireworks. Like these mostly white ones. They remind me of the sparklers we like to play with earlier in the evening.
Photo 352 - December 19
Less than a week til Christmas and finally started to get my Christmas tree up. Has been a few years since the tree has been featured in our house.
Photo 351 - December 18
Beautiful clouds. Tried to capture the way the sun was reflecting off the top of the clouds on my way home. Photo doesn't do it justice.
Photo 350 - December 17
Road the train a few times in the last few weeks before Christmas/New Years holiday. Tried to capture this bright bush a couple of mornings in a row, but the breeze was always blowing it like crazy for me to get the closeup I wanted. So instead I have altered this photo in Photoshop to blur it even more than it was so you get how beautiful the bright orange was against the blue sky in the background.
Photo 349 - December 16
Absolutely beautiful sunset the other night. I was heading to the shops quick to buy something before they closed and looking in the rear view mirror was just this massive red ball of a sun. Unlike me I didn't have my camera with me, but was only a minute from home so turned around and got the camera and drove down to the oceanside to catch the sun just before it sunk. I missed the redness I had seen in the car (sun set too quickly) but it was still beautiful.

Heading home after a lovely few days away. These apricot trees were growing beside our cottage and were the parting shot just before we pulled out on Tuesday morning.
Photo 347 - December 14
Rest day! After the long hot walk on Sunday we took the opportunity to put our feet up before a little outing on Monday. So water containers got a rest too. I liked the reflection of the trees on the windows as I was relaxing on the patio.
Photo 346 - December 13
The photography theme of our hike on Sunday was "Trees". This little one caught my eye as we passed through some pine plantations with Christmas on my mind.
Photo 345 - December 12
Driving down to Balingup for a short extended weekend break Mandy and I took a detour to find Gnomesville. VERY entertaining and worth the detour. This group was my favourite.
Photo 344 - December 11
Early morning at the train station. Our photography theme for the weekend is "Trees" and I got a head start by taking this photo while waiting for the train first thing Friday morning.
Photo 343 - December 10
Quick photo taken just before the shops closed. I got the sequins on this shirt a little out of focus so decided to play with the photo in Photoshop. This is the outcome after adding the Glowing Edges effect.

Trip Planning. Heading off with Mandy again this coming weekend for a three day trip down south to walk a bit more of the Bibbulmun Track. Balingup is our centre of operations this time. Notice the little walking man next to the dotted path just above Grimwade Road - that is our track....well the northern section at least. We are also doing a section south of Balingup. Our accommodation is just above the "P" in Balingup.

The days are getting longer and longer as we head into summer. Took this photo after we got home last night. The fading light brought out the yellow in the flower.
Photo 339 - December 6
Decorating at home? Was supposed to do some decorating of the house on Sunday, but after all the excitement on Friday afternoon and Saturday night just didn't get around to it. Took some photos today of some of the decorations I should have put up already.
Photo 338 - December 5
Bjorn Again Sunset. We had a nice evening out on Saturday. Bjorn Again is an ABBA tribute group and they sounded pretty good in this outdoor setting in Kings Park. We were very thankful when the sun went down as the afternoon was just a bit warm until then.
Photo 337 - December 4
Christmas Celebration. We had a beautiful Christmas lunch on Friday afternoon. Lamonts is one of those restaurants with lovely food and a gorgeous view. Nice way to relax on a hot afternoon.
Photo 336 - December 3
O Christmas Tree. Lots of blue sky and sunshine this past week and the heat to go with it. The Christmas trees that survive the Aussie summer are those that are planted. This is the top of one that pokes up above the roof line of our neighbours house.
Photo 335 - December 2
Christmas Decorations...we started to decorate the office on Tuesday last week. Lots of gold, silver, green and red around the office.
Photo 334 - December 1
Train station. Was attempting to get the interesting colour of the sky in my shot out the train window on my way home - but the benches at the train station actually looked more interesting.
